St Agatha's Catholic School
St Agatha's Catholic School, with its vibrant community of over 350 students, sought to revitalise its outdoor play spaces. The existing asphalt surfaces were prone to wear and tear, presented safety hazards, and lacked visual appeal. To address these issues, the school opted for a complete playground transformation featuring a durable and engaging synthetic grass solution.
Key Project Highlights:
Surface Preparation: To ensure proper adhesion and drainage, meticulous surface preparation was crucial. This involved preparing the existing asphalt, ensure grading in the area is up to standard, to ensure proper water runoff, and creating a stable base for the new synthetic turf.
Turf Installation: Installing the synthetic turf required precision and expertise to achieve a seamless and aesthetically pleasing finish. Our team carefully seamed and secured the turf, paying close attention to the intricate details of the colored court markings.
Variation of Colour: The synthetic grass playground offers a versatile and stimulating play area for students of all ages. The inclusion of coloured turf to create designated basketball and handball courts encourages active play and organised sports.
The playground transformation at St Agatha's Catholic Primary School has been a resounding success. The new synthetic grass play areas have created a safer, more engaging, and visually appealing environment for students to enjoy. The durable and low-maintenance surface will provide years of active play, fostering physical development, social interaction, and a love of outdoor activities.
